“The unexamined life is not worth living.” –Socrates

Your facebook place for Philosophy, Religion, Science, Politics, Culture and the Arts!

Socrates on facebook (SOFB) is a forum for discussing the serious questions of the day. This site is developed by Paul Wesselhöft but inspired by Eric Metaxas whose work with Socrates in the City is a great success in NYC, Chicago and Houston.

Socrates, the Greek philosopher said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” Using this statement as our model, we invite face book friends to publish serious (conservative, moderate & liberal) articles, essays, poems or extended comments.

We expect clashing ideas, openness, and a learning experience. We ask for civil discussion; therefore, we will not accept profanity, bigotry, or name calling. SOFB is a serious endeavor and must be different from the usual traffic on Face Book.

The face book community will critique or dialogue with you concerning your developed but briefly written thoughts. Please post your developed ideas and arguments.

We also invite you to recruit all of your FB friends to join our SOFB community page. Let’s get the membership into the thousands. Finally, you have found a forum to publish your developed thoughts! Welcome!
